May 16th Driver Appreciation & Family Night
Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval Hosts Driver Appreciation Night and First GESA Credit Union Family Night on May 16
EAST WENATCHEE, WA – Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval (WVSO) will celebrate its drivers and fans on Saturday, May 16 with Driver Appreciation Night, presented by Knutson General Contracting. The evening will also mark the first GESA Credit Union Family Night of the 2026 season, offering a special opportunity for families to experience the excitement of short track racing.
As part of GESA Credit Union Family Night, the first 30 fans to arrive at the front gate and present a GESA Credit Union debit or credit card will receive a free family pass, valid for two adults and two youth (ages 6–17).
The event will feature a full slate of racing divisions, showcasing a mix of veteran competitors and rising young talent. Fans can expect an action-packed program including:
Rockstar Energy B-Mods
Dick’s Heating & Air Conditioning Thunder Cars
NAPA Auto Parts Bandoleros
Plumb Perfect Roadrunners
B&T Towing Youth Roadrunners
In addition to the racing action, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a Fan Fest at 5:30 p.m., where they can meet drivers, collect autographs, and get an up-close look at the race cars before they hit the track.
“Driver Appreciation Night is one of our favorite events of the season,” said WVSO General Manager Jeremy Anders. “It’s a chance to recognize the drivers who make this sport so special, while also giving fans a more personal connection through Fan Fest. Partnering with GESA Credit Union to bring Family Night to life makes it even more impactful for our community.”
Event Schedule:
Gates Open: 5:00 p.m.
Fan Fest: 5:30 p.m.
Racing Begins: 6:00 p.m.

Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval, located atop the plateau in East Wenatchee, Washington, has been a cornerstone of Pacific Northwest racing since 1970. Known as one of the premier short tracks west of the Mississippi, the high-banked quarter-mile oval continues to deliver exciting, family-friendly motorsports entertainment to fans from across the region.
